The 2022 Kia Sportage has a 16.4-gallon fuel tank that uses a Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) fuel delivery system on all models. At this size, you can believe that you’ll be on the highway for a long time, and with hardly any stops on the way. The Sportage features a steel unibody construction that creates increased aerodynamics for much better gas efficiency on all models while maintaining supremely reliable tire traction on the pavement below.
The 2022 Sportage has a maximum range of 426 miles on the Nightfall Edition, LX, and EX trims with FWD. Regardless if you go with AWD or FWD, the driving range should change a bit. The EPA predicts that the Sportage should get 23 mpg in the city and 30 mpg cruising on the highway making an estimated 26 mpg combined on the Nightfall Edition, LX, and EX models, with the gas mileage dipping just slightly on the SX Turbo model.
The 2022 Kia Sportage uses a 2.4-liter Inline 4-cylinder that makes 181 horsepower on the LX, Nightfall Edition, and EX models, while the SX Turbo model uses a 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder. Every model comes with an electronically controlled 6-speed auto transmission with Sportmatic®. For the FWD and AWD versions of the LX, Nightfall Edition, and EX trims the engine creates 181 hp, while the SX Turbo AWD trim level makes 237 horsepower, and the SX Turbo FWD model creates 240 hp. The Kia Sportage remains a solid, well-priced leader in the crossover SUV field.

I made an appointment, waited while work was completed. At the end I had a clean car, oil changed, alignment, and tires rotated. 1.5 hrs. I think that is great.
